Download the Firmware
Download the firmware file from the MEGA link provided below. Extract the downloaded archive using WinRAR or 7-Zip into a folder on your PC.

Boot into EDL / 9008 Mode
Power off your phone completely. Hold both Volume Up + Volume Down simultaneously and connect the USB cable to your PC. You should see "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" in Device Manager.

Open GSM Tool
Open GSM Tool (version 9.25 or higher). Select the "Fix DM-Verity" operation from the left panel. Choose "Xiaomi Redmi 9 (India) / Cattail" from the model list.

Select Firmware & Start
Browse and select the extracted firmware folder. Click the Start button and monitor the log window. Wait for the process to complete fully — do not disconnect the cable.

Done! Restart Your Phone
Once you see the "Fix DM Verity Done!" message, disconnect the USB cable and press the power button to restart. The first boot may take 3–5 minutes — this is completely normal.
